Premier Equine Akoni Turnout Rug with Classic Neck Cover 200g

Premier Equine Akoni Turnout Rug with Classic Neck Cover 200g

The Premier Equine Akoni 200g Turnout Rug with Classic Neck Cover is designed for colder, changeable weather, combining 200g of insulation with a waterproof and breathable outer. The 600D diamond triple-weave polyester outer has a 10,000mm waterproof rating and 10,000g/m²/24h breathability rating, while the Teflon coating helps repel moisture and resist stains. The 200g fill provides warmth while the breathable construction helps manage moisture within the rug.

The detachable Classic neck cover provides additional coverage when needed and can be removed when a more open neckline is preferred. The neckline is shaped to sit 2–4 inches in front of the wither, helping the rug sit comfortably ahead of the shoulder. An extra-high elasticated shoulder gusset allows greater freedom of movement, making it practical for horses spending time turned out. Integrated liner attachments also allow compatible liners to be added when further warmth is required.

Reflective detailing at the front and rear improves visibility in low light, while stainless steel chest clips and surcingle bars provide secure fastening. The antibacterial and anti-static lining sits against the coat, with a self-righting design, clip-on PVC-coated tail strap and optional adjustable leg straps included. The rug comes in navy and purple and is supplied in a reusable zip-fastened storage bag.
