Keratex Hoof Hardener strengthens and protects shod or unshod hooves. This hoof hardener is ideal for brittle, cracked, soft or weak hooves preventing breakage, aiding horseshoes to stay on tight so your horse remains sound and inhibiting repeated shoe loss. This product also reduces lameness from soft/brushed soles. 

This product works by cross-linking the proteins and Keratins within the structure of the hoof horn and sole to strengthen the hooves within hours of the first application. This innovative formula absorbs into the hooves so it will not "come off" and allows the foot to breathe without compromising the natural functions of the hoof capsule.
