Shire Sweet Iron Full Cheek Snaffle Bit
This full cheek snaffle bit features a slim 12mm sweet iron mouthpiece designed to promote salivation and a softer contact. The naturally oxidising sweet iron creates a pleasant taste, helping with mouthing and acceptance. Raised copper ribs encourage further softness while discouraging the horse from taking too much of a hold—ideal for stronger or leaner types. Full stainless steel cheeks ensure directional stability and assist with steering, making this bit especially useful for schooling or young horses. Built for comfort and control with a cheek height of 160mm.
