Premier Equine Loose Ring Waterford Bit
The Waterford mouthpiece consists of a series of ball-shaped links, allowing complete mobility in all directions. This feature is particularly effective in addressing issues such as leaning, grabbing the bit, and jaw setting. When the horse attempts to grab the bit, the mouthpiece collapses, depriving the horse of anything rigid to hold onto. The mouthpiece functions to evenly distribute pressure over the tongue and bars of the mouth. Paired with simple, loose ring cheeks, this bit is well-suited for stronger horses prone to leaning or grabbing the bit. For optimal effectiveness, it should be worn 1/4" - 1/2" wider than standard.
