Premier Equine Brass Alloy Hanging Cheek with Waterford Mouth Bit
This fixed cheek bit is designed to encourage flexion, making it especially beneficial for horses with a high head carriage. It can also be helpful for horses that are uncertain about the bit due to its limited movement in the mouth. The Waterford mouthpiece consists of a series of ball-shaped links, allowing complete mobility in all directions. This feature is particularly effective for addressing issues such as leaning, grabbing hold of the bit, and jaw setting. When the horse attempts to take hold of the bit, the mouthpiece collapses, depriving the horse of anything rigid to grasp. Brass alloy creates a warm and durable material that is perfect for horse bits as it aids salivation and is more palatable to the horse. The hanging cheek Waterford is ideal for stronger horses with a high head carriage. It should be worn 1/4" - 1/2" wider than standard to be effective.
