The Point Two Bungee Lanyard connects your vest trigger mechanism directly to the saddle strap on your tree. If you are unseated, the cord pulls the trigger key free to inflate the CO2 canister in a fraction of a second. Made for Point Two systems produced from October 2012 onwards, it stretches to 50cm so you can stand up in your stirrups or stretch over a big fence without accidentally setting off your gas clip.

Even if you have been lucky enough not to take a tumble, internal elastic fibres weaken over time from weather exposure, arena dust, and constant tension. Replacing your lanyard every two years guarantees the elastic retains the correct pull strength to fire the mechanism when you really need it. It is a quick, straightforward job to swap over at home using the included guide, giving you total peace of mind whether you are warming up for cross country or heading out on a wet winter hack.
