The LeMieux Crystal Cooler Rug in Grey is a highly advanced water activated garment designed to support gentle cooling and help manage your horse’s body temperature after exercise or during periods of extreme heat. This innovative rug features water reactive crystals housed within specific liner pockets that swell and retain cold when soaked. To ensure maximum efficiency the rug is not fully lined which promotes essential breathability and allows for natural evaporation across the horse's back and quarters. 

The outer shell is constructed from a lightweight breathable mesh fabric that actively encourages airflow to assist in rapid heat dissipation. For the best results this rug should be used alongside other cooling methods such as providing shade and ensuring proper rehydration to prevent overheating and dehydration. Before the very first use the rug must be soaked for four hours to fully activate the internal crystals after which it can be re-activated multiple times by simply soaking in cold water.
