The Horseware Rhino Pony Vari-Layer Wug Turnout 250g is specifically cut for ponies needing extra protection without unnecessary weight. Its high-neck Wug profile creates a snug fit over the wither and neck line, which helps reduce pressure points and prevents mane rubbing, making it a great option for narrower or high-withered builds. Built with a tough 1000D polypropylene outer and Horseware's inner Barrier Layer, it gives reliable waterproof and breathable protection against heavy rain and windy field conditions.

This turnout uses Vari-Layer technology. Concentrating 250g of thermobonded fibrefill across the back and hips, it puts insulation right where warmth escapes fastest while keeping the lower sides lightweight. Inside, the smooth anti-static and anti-bacterial lining maintains coat shine and supports skin health through regular winter turnout. Front leg arches combine with the V-Front chest closure to let your pony move and stretch freely without tightness around the shoulders. Two cross surcingles, a wipe-clean tail cord, a protective tail flap and rear loops for optional leg straps ensure the rug stays secure in muddy fields. Reflective strips also add peace of mind during dark morning and evening yard checks. The Horseware Wug range is not compatible with any Horseware liners or Hoods.
