The Horseware Amigo 1200D XL Turnout Hood 150g provides cozy, reliable neck protection specifically cut to suit larger, broader-framed horses. Designed to pair seamlessly with your Amigo XL turnout rug, this detachable neck piece features a roomier contour that fits draft crosses, warmbloods, and wide-chested builds without pulling tight across the crest. Containing 150g of thermobonded fibrefill, it delivers comfortable light-medium warmth to protect muscles along the neck when winter winds and cold rain pick up.
Constructed with a heavy-duty 1200D polyester outer, it forms a fully waterproof and breathable shield that holds up against tough yard use and muddy conditions. Inside, a smooth lining glides over hair to prevent mane rubs and preserve coat shine. Quick-fastening Velcro straps secure the hood directly to your turnout rug's XL hood loops, making it simple to attach or remove extra coverage as seasonal weather shifts.
