Premier Equine Buster Sweet Itch Rug with Surcingles

The Premier Equine Buster Sweet Itch Rug with Surcingles is designed to help protect horses prone to sweet itch, sensitive to insect bites or affected by the sun’s harmful rays. Made from durable 1000D ripstop polyester, the rug features specially selected fabric that is 100% UV reflective and has a close-knit construction to help prevent even small midges from getting through. Lightweight and breathable, it helps keep your horse cool and comfortable during warmer weather.

An integrated neck cover extends over the ears to provide extra coverage, while the antibacterial and anti-static polyester lining across the shoulder and neck helps reduce rubbing and feels comfortable against the skin. The signature extra-high elasticated shoulder gusset allows greater freedom of movement, whether your horse is grazing, moving around the field or relaxing in the sun.

Designed for a secure fit, the rug fastens with double-locking Velcro straps on the neck cover, quick-release chest clips, cross surcingles and a PVC-coated tail strap. It’s a practical option for horses that need extra protection throughout the fly season.
