Designed with a resilient 1000D polypropylene outer in a classic plaid check, the Horseware Rhino Plus Vari-Layer Turnout 450g incorporates Horseware's internal Barrier Layer to block out driving rain and icy winds while remaining fully breathable. The heavy 450g fibrefill uses clever Vari-Layer technology, placing maximum insulation across the top of the back and hindquarters where heat escapes fastest. This turnout comes supplied with a matching detachable neck cover, letting you seal out freezing drafts during storms or remove it on dry, still days. The Surefit Neck design and V-Front chest fastening spread pressure evenly away from the point of the shoulder and wither, preventing soreness during long periods of turnout.

On the inside, the anti-static and anti-bacterial lining smooths the coat to prevent friction and hair damage. If freezing temperatures plummet even further, internal loops allow you to attach Horseware liners for extra layering. Three belly surcingles, a secure tail flap, a wipe-clean tail cord and reflective trims make this a practical, hard-wearing choice for mid-winter yard life.
