Horse Grooming Essentials for Everyday Care and Show Days

Grooming is about much more than getting a clean horse, although anyone with a grey before a competition may disagree. Regular horse grooming gives you a chance to check the skin, legs and hooves while removing mud, loose hair and stable dust. Our grooming range covers everything from everyday grooming equipment and brushes to bathing products, clippers and hoof care for horses living in, turned out or in regular work.

From Muddy Coats to Clipping Season

The grooming kit tends to change with the seasons. Winter brings dried-on mud, thick coats and clipping, while summer usually means more bathing, sweat marks and keeping manes and tails under control. Browse brushes and combs, coat, mane and tail care and bathing and washing for daily care and competition preparation.

During clipping season, our clipping and trimming range covers horse clippers, trimmers, blades and accessories. Keeping blades clean and sharp makes a noticeable difference, particularly when you're halfway through a hairy native and wondering why you started.

Don't Forget the Hooves

Regular hoof care is another useful part of the grooming routine, with hoof picks, brushes, oils and dressings helping you keep an eye on changes between farrier visits.

For products aimed more specifically at health concerns, recovery or first aid, head to horse care. You can also find everyday equipment in stable and yard. A good grooming routine doesn't need dozens of products, just dependable ones that suit your horse, their coat and the job at hand.
