Who/what is it for?

These Flex-On Green Composite stirrups are for me to ride in everyday and compete in. I choose a neutral colour scheme to allow me to do this. With so many choices you can have fun designing your own custom stirrups for whatever your needs.

Initial thoughts on the product 

I love the design of the Flex-On GC Stirrups, you can chose the colour, angle of foot bed and tread! The ultimate customised stirrup. The wide foot bed with the incline tread (also available in flat) really helps keep the stirrup in place which is an absolute game changer. 

Likes 

There are many things I like about the Flex-On GC Stirrups, one of my favourite things is the fact you can change the whole look of the Flex-On by switching the magnetic inserts; such a bonus. There’s a decent weight to the stirrups too and with the shock absorbers, I have found it helps relieve any ankle/foot pain, which is a must have benefit for many riders.

I love that the design of the Flex-On stirrup allows the foot bed to remain under toe without slipping back towards my heel; a problem I have often experienced in the past. Having larger feet (size 8) the width gives me much needed confidence that my foot wouldn’t get trapped easily.

The Flex-On Stirrup also helps stabilise my lower leg, particularly over fences. This has given me confidence that I am less likely to lose a stirrup when jumping.  

Dislikes 

My only dislike is the fact the foot bed grip is very sharp, if you were to run your stirrups up, they could mark the leather if not manoeuvred carefully. However, the foot bed grip provides security so it’s a catch 22 really. I would just advise that when running your stirrup up. Ensure you do it with care. Yes, absolutely. 100%

Yes, they are my new favourite.

Is the price point fair?

Although at first the price point seems high, once you feel the quality of the product and realise the benefits that the Flex-On’s provide, I would say the price point is bang on.
