Cribbing can cause undesirable health effects on your horse, Hydrophane Cribstix is a crib-biting preventative in a screw-up applicator. It is a convenient applicator that has less waste and mess and is a trusted way of deterring horses from crib-biting and gnawing wooden rails. Cribbing can wear down your horses’ top incisors, can put your horse at a higher risk of colic and lead to over development of neck muscles. It is thought to be a vice or a bad habit that is caused by extreme boredom, but new evidence suggests that a horse may bite their door or stall due to a digestive upset. Hydrophane Cribstix can help to stop the urge to crib, due to its unpleasant taste. Available in 65g.
