Shires Hanging Cheek Waterford Bit
The Waterford Hanging Cheek Snaffle is ideal for horses that tend to lean, pull, or take hold of the bit. Featuring a mouthpiece made up of multiple flexible links, this bit creates an unstable surface in the mouth, making it difficult for the horse to gain consistent pressure and encouraging softness instead.
The hanging cheek design adds a small amount of poll pressure, which promotes a rounded frame and improved outline. With an 18mm stainless steel mouthpiece and 110mm cheeks, this bit is both durable and comfortable, making it an excellent option for stronger horses that need more control without harshness.
