Shires Chifney Bit
The Chifney bit is an in-hand bit designed specifically for leading difficult horses. Known for its severity, it should only be used with care and is not intended for ridden work. The lead rope attaches to the loose ring at the back, offering added control when handling strong or unpredictable horses. Made from durable stainless steel that resists rust, is tasteless, and easy to clean. Chifney bit strap sold separately.
