Myco-toxins are toxins that are found in fungi or mould, these can be found in hay, haylage, fruits, herbs, cereals and hard feed. They can not be seen by the eye, do not smell, do not always cause any visual change to the feed or forage. Horses that have ingested Myco-toxins normal show symptoms like lack of energy, poor coat condition, weight loss, and sometimes digestion upsets but most commonly a blood sample taken by a vet will show raised liver enzymes are shown. Instructions for use and feeding guide
Level 25ml (17g) scoops per day
Pony - approximately 250kg 2
Horse - approximately 500kg 3
Large Horse - over 750kg 4
Introduce to feed slowly. Mix thoroughly with feed and split between meals where possible.
