Tried & tested by our Product Tester Caitlin, here's her review of the Woof Wear Grand Prix Riding Glove.
Who/what is it for?
I am a product tester for Country & Stable and received these Woof Wear Grand Prix Gloves to put through their paces. I was after a pair of gloves to protect my hands from rubs whilst keeping a good grip on the reins; a of pair of gloves that I could use for all aspects of riding.
Initial thoughts on the product
I really liked them! They looked simplistic, yet classy. I liked how lightweight they felt and how flexible they were.
Likes
These gloves ticked every box for me. As I dislike thick chunky gloves the thin, yet quality feel to these won me over. They have a fantastic grip in all weather conditions and my hands did not get too hot or sweaty. The gloves are flexible; I found I had full movement which in turn meant there were no restrictions when riding. You are still able to feel through the reins – and the big bonus, no more blisters!
Dislikes
Where the fabric is thinner and more delicate, they did tear slightly when I fell off and have marginally stretched around the wrist fastening. Because of the minor stretching I would recommend to size down.
Would you recommend the product?
Absolutely they are a fantastic glove, you can even keep them on to use your phone which is a bonus
Would you continue to use the product?
Yes, and looking to purchase the white pair for Dressage competitions.
Is the price point fair?
I think they are; they have an expensive feel and offer a lot of technical features within the glove.
Was it comfortable/warm/waterproof – etc?
They are super comfortable, lightweight, and breathable. My hands didn’t overheat which they normally do. Overall super happy and very thankful for the opportunities to test them. Finally giving me a glove, I love!
