Horseware Signature Riding Tights

Tried & tested by our Digital Merchandiser Jess, here’s her review of the Horseware Signature Riding Tights.

Horseware Signature Riding TightsWho/what is it for?

These breeches are an exciting new addition to my running wardrobe. They have also made it onto the yoga mat and on several walks too.

Initial thoughts on the product

I wasn’t sure what to expect from riding tights but was delightfully surprised by them. They’re lightweight, and the elasticated material is wonderfully soft, making for a really nice fit. The design is modern and flattering - a great confidence boost while working out and running. Also, they’re not see-through!

Likes

These tights are so cosy, and the mesh inserts are great for keeping cool. My traditional running leggings often ride up or are loose around the ankle (I’m quite tall so often struggle with fit), but these tights come with silicone grips on the inside of the hem to stop this. All these features combined mean I could get on with my walk or run without a worry.

Dislikes

It’s hard to think of any dislikes. My only big point would probably be the phone pocket. The pocket is quite small and doesn’t have a fastening which isn’t a worry while walking but is a concern while running. I instead put my phone in my armband holder. I’m also in-between sizes, so the waistband was a little loose – I would happily size down to a UK10 next time.

Would you recommend the product?

Definitely! They are so comfortable and would make a great addition to any workout wardrobe.

Would you continue to use the product?

Yes, especially during the summer months. The mesh panels mean I never overheat.

Is the price point fair?

Yes, they would make a reliable investment piece. These tights are much higher quality than some traditional workout leggings.

Was it comfortable/warm/waterproof – etc?

The fabric is very comfortable and breathable. However, I will probably stick to my waterproof leggings during heavy downpours or while doing cross country.
